It’s another big day for Battlefield 6 fans, with the release of the REDSEC Battle Royale on the horizon, but there are questions on how to preload and download the mode ahead of launch.
REDSEC in Battlefield 6 kicks off later today (October 28), marking the next step for Battlefield after the successful launch of the title earlier this month, and the mode’s drop coincides with the start of Season 1.

Can You Preload Battlefield 6 REDSEC?
No, there is no preload available for Battlefield 6’s REDSEC Battle Royale, and you need to wait until the full launch of the mode to trigger the download.
That may cause problems and frustrations, as plenty of players around the world will be trying to download at the same time, as well as accessing the game, which could lead to lengthy wait times and slower download speeds.
Those with Battlefield 6 purchased and already installed, however, might be able to jump the queue, as EA pushed out a sizeable patch in the latest update ahead of the launch of Season 1 and REDSEC. Though not confirmed, it’s likely that the majority of elements for the Battle Royale, if not all, were downloaded at the same time.
