When a new indie sensation arrives on Steam, gamers in the thousands flock to get in on the action. It’s been no different with Meccha Chameleon, the hide-and-seek game where you paint your small character to blend in with your surroundings whilst others hunt you down.
It’s already proven to be an incredibly popular party title, with the game already selling over a million copies! You’ve likely seen the game online and wondered what it would take to get involved, and that always boils down to the price.
With AAA titles going for upwards of $70 these days, it’s especially exciting to see a great new game at a wonderfully low price, but can the same be said for Meccha Chameleon? Find out for yourself below.
How Much Is Meccha Chameleon?

Meccha Chameleon has a base price on Steam for $5.99, making it a bargain for those of you desperate to get in on the action.
That said, if you’re really quick, there’s currently a cheeky introductory offer: the game is on sale for 20% off, marked down to $4.79.
The offer ends at 10 AM PT on June 16, so if you’re reading this after that, then sorry, you’re out of luck. Still, the standard price shouldn’t make too big a dent in your wallet, so it might be time to pick up that paintbrush and get to hiding!
All Meccha Chameleon Editions
There is only one edition for Meccha Chameleon, and that’s the basic version found on Steam.
Sometimes, new releases arrive with extras that are exclusive for higher-paying customers, such as cosmetics and in-game bonuses, but that’s not the case with Meccha Chameleon. Everyone pays the same price and gets the same content.
To be fair, selling cosmetics in a game all about painting and artistic freedom might appear a bit ironic. With the game being an indie title, it makes sense that there’s simply one base edition of the game up for grabs.
