Everyone is on the edge of their seat for some kind of GTA 6 news: Its price, pre-order details, or Trailer 3. We need something, anything. So it was quite humorous to see Google jump the gun by giving GTA 6 a 16p price tag for the PlayStation Store.
Take-Two’s CEO confirming the GTA 6 release date again is the closest we’ve had to any news on the most hyped game in history. November 19 feels like an eternity away, and anything would be better than nothing right now.
Which is why, despite the fact it’s never going to happen, the idea of GTA 6 being 16p is a fun distraction.
Google GTA 6 PlayStation Store Listing Has GTA 6 For 16p

Back in February 2026, we reported on the story that GTA 6’s digital price surfaced online at £89.99.
This is likely a placeholder price, because the reality is that no one other than Take-Two and Rockstar Games knows what the game’s price tag is going to be.
Could it be the one to finally break $100 for the standard edition of a game?
Well, X user Saukko505 (amongst many others) shared a screenshot showing the alleged price point for GTA 6: The low, low cost of just 16p!
Incredibly, Google has managed to come to this conclusion with seemingly no basis for it. It’s also something to think about, given that Google has unveiled its AI-driven search changes that threaten the future of Digital Journalism!
To be clear, GTA 6 is NOT going to be 16p, as much as we’d all like it to be. It would help Grand Theft Auto 6 sell more copies than anyone could ever imagine, but we need to wake up from this dream.
More GTA 6 details should be coming soon with the next Take-Two earnings call around the corner. Stay tuned for a full report on this, and potentially new GTA 6 announcements or reveals.
