Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Launches October with Extra Content

Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition will launch on October 1, 2026, with new content, Echoes of Sekigahara, a roguelike mode, and more.

It will be one year in October 2026 since Ghost of Yotei, the latest title from Sucker Punch, was released, and to commemorate the occasion, they want to provide players with something special. The Complete Edition upgrade introduces a narrative expansion, a new combat survival mode, and more additions to the game.

Ghost of Yotei Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted Details Revealed

The first introduction to the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition includes the Echoes of Sekigahara narrative expansion. Players will meet a new character from Atsu’s past, Nagato, both in the present and through flashbacks. They will explore an “unseen valley once inhabited by The Snake and his gang of loyal followers, the Vipers,” in the present day. In the past, players will experience Atsu’s time during the Battle of Sekigahara and the events that led her to return home and seek vengeance. Additionally, players will face new enemies and discover new heavy weapons, armor sets, dyes, and more.

Most Wanted, on the other hand, is a new single-player combat survival mode, which is Sucker Punch’s take on a roguelike mode. Players will have to accept bounties to start new runs, take down enemies, earn perks, and unlock additional characters. Different characters have different specialties, such as Atsu with Dual Katana, Oyuki with kusarigama, and Nagato with Yari. More details about both the narrative expansion and the roguelike mode will be revealed soon.

Along with the new content, the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition will include all the in-game content previously included in the digital deluxe edition, along with Charm of Hokkyokusei. Players who purchase before September 30 also receive early unlock of the Sakai Armor in October, which is a throwback to Jin’s family armor from Ghost of Tsushima.

The Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition has been priced at $69.99 USD; players who already own the base game can purchase an upgrade for $14.99 USD. Additionally, players will also receive new tracks for Watanabe Mode, new photo mode stamps, additional cosmetics for New Game+, and new Trophies for both Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted. There’s also a new patch coming on October 1, the Beauty of Yotei mode, which brings a screensaver-like view of the environments of Ezo.
