Gamescom Opening Night Live takes place on Tuesday, August 25, marking the start of the week-long event.
Of course, Gamescom is about far more than just Opening Night Live. The event is held at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, where media and ticket-holding fans can get hands-on with upcoming games, attend various showcases and take part in a huge range of activities throughout the week.
That said, Opening Night Live remains the biggest part of the event for those watching from home. The showcase typically features a huge selection of trailers, updates and announcements, ranging from highly anticipated releases to completely new reveals.
It’s been confirmed that Gamescom Opening Night Live will begin at 11 AM PT on August 25, 2026.
For those of you on the West Coast, it’s the perfect late-morning viewing, whilst for those in Europe or Asia, it’s going to be a later night or very early morning.
