With that in mind, here’s everything you need to know about Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, including when the showcase begins and where you can watch it.

Gamescom Opening Night Live takes place on Tuesday, August 25, marking the start of the week-long event.

Of course, Gamescom is about far more than just Opening Night Live. The event is held at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, where media and ticket-holding fans can get hands-on with upcoming games, attend various showcases and take part in a huge range of activities throughout the week.
