G2 Esports appoint Perkz as head coach, Dylan Falco moved to the bench

G2 Esports has announced a major coaching change ahead of the Esports World Cup 2026, with former MSI winner Luka “Perkz” Perković taking over as the team’s head coach. At the same time, long-time head coach Dylan Falco has been moved to the bench.

The organization confirmed on X that Perkz will take over as head coach starting at the Esports World Cup 2026, marking the latest chapter in his long history with G2. Widely regarded as one of Europe’s greatest League of Legends players, Perkz steps into the role after serving as the team’s positional coach for the past month, making this his first stint as G2’s head coach.
