The team behind Forza Horizon 6 is touting the game’s massive success with over 6 million players. The game, which launched globally on May 19, had already surpassed 1 million players in Early Access. Since then, that number has only continued to grow.
In a social media post on May 21, it was confirmed that over 6 million players have experienced the racing simulation set in Japan. As of this writing, there are 258,358 players currently enjoying Forza on Steam alone. With 6 million players at a base price of $70, the game has generated at least $420 million in revenue. Critically, the game continues to do well, with a 91 Metacritic score and an 8.8 user score. Insider Gaming is one of at least a dozen outlets that have given the game a perfect score.

The game, deeply rooted in Japanese cultural beliefs, is expected to remain a key focus for developers in the coming years. Meanwhile, the player community has already begun creating and sharing mods online since day one of Early Access. Find out more about this here.
