The second season of the 7th chapter of Fortnite is coming to an end. On June 5, the live event Shattered will take place at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This will serve as the epilogue of Chapter 7: Season 2, and wrap up this chapter of the storyline between the Foundation and the Ice King.

Shattered is the first large-scale Live Event since Collision wrapped up the second season of Chapter 3. It also led to a brief unplayable period. The epilogue will start on June 5; it’s currently unknown how long the final event will last and where it will take place in the universe.

Fortnite Returns to App Store as Shattered Event Nears

Another event reaching its inclusion is the legal battle between Apple and Epic Games. Ahead of the conclusion of the legal dispute, Fortnite has returned to the Apple App Store in many regions worldwide. However, Australia isn’t one of them.

“We will continue to challenge Apple’s anticompetitive App Store practices of banning alternative app stores and competition in payments. We’ve seen momentum around the world to address these practices, with regulators passing laws in Japan, the European Union, and the United Kingdom – but time and time again, Apple has evaded the laws with scare screens, fees, and onerous requirements. It’s time for regulators to truly enforce the laws so developers and consumers around the world can benefit from an open and fair mobile app ecosystem,” Epic said in its statement.

Insider Gaming will continue to monitor the story and report any updates as more information about Fortnite Shattered becomes available.
