Just a few days ahead of release, Fortnite has provided players with a glimpse of the gameplay they can expect in Chapter 7 Season 3.

Chapter 7 Season 3 doesn’t start until June 6, 2026, and that will also come after the live event for Season 2, which takes place on the 5th. The brand new season comes with a wealth of new content that will help players ‘Power Up’, build a collection, and claim victory. Check out everything new in the trailer below:

The new season, titled “Runners”, features several small creatures that seemingly provide players with extra power. The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3’s gameplay trailer specifically showcased two instances where the players’ weapons power up just by having one of these creatures on their backs. A shotgun was able to blow up a car in one shot, whereas an assault rifle was easily able to take down metal buildings. There seem to be some traversal power-ups, too, letting the character jump higher and seemingly run and slide faster.

The cover image for Fortnite’s new season gives players a sense of the types of skins they can expect. There seems to be a pen and ink version of John Wick, along with a dog with the same art style that players can grab. There’s also a collaboration with BurntPeanut, who appears as one of the small creatures/sidekicks/sprites that players have seen in the new trailer, as well as the cover image.

In other news, Fortnite players can watch the first 10 minutes of the recently released The Mandalorian and Grogu movie right now. Additionally, here are all the details on the free rewards available during Fortnite Community Day, along with an overview of the headline additions to the Item Shop.
