A new look at the forthcoming Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is set for Gamescom Opening Night Live; fans can look forward to another glimpse of what is set for the final game in the remake trilogy.
Square Enix announced through the official Final Fantasy 7 social media channels that the game director, Naoki Hamaguchi, will provide a brand-new look at the game during Geoff Keighley’s annual stage show later this month. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 25.
Naoki Hamaguchi Has Been Open About Final Fantasy 7’s Finale

With the release of Revelation scheduled for spring 2027, Hamaguchi has been active in the media, discussing the conclusion of this ambitious remake trilogy. He recently confirmed that the game will complete the trilogy and that the ending will be integrated into the main game rather than as downloadable content.
However, if there is DLC for the upcoming title, Hamaguchi has also openly shared his thoughts on the direction he would like to see it take. Learn more about that at this link. Insider Gaming will continue to monitor all things Final Fantasy 7 and report any updates as new information becomes available.
