Escape from Tarkov Guardian of Nature Quest Guide—Where to Find Information on Ref’s Plan

Escape from Tarkov has a new event that starts with the Guardian of Nature quest. It’s a simple enough thing that can take just a few minutes to complete, but it requires players to find an item that isn’t immediately obvious. This is another EFT event that sees Ref going up against traders, but this time, he’s warring with Jaeger, and this is where it all begins.

In Guardian of Nature, you need to head to Woods to find information on Ref’s plan, but where do you go, and once you’ve found the location, where do you find the intel?

The base requirement for Guardian of Nature, the first quest of the new Escape from Tarkov event, is for players to track down information on Ref’s plan in the EMERCOM Camp on Woods. There are optional objectives, but as you can imagine, you don’t need to do them to move on to the next task.

When you load into a raid on Woods, you’ll need to head to the EMERCOM Camp alongside the lake, on the road to the Sawmill and near the RUAF extraction point. It’s an easy enough location to find, as it’s one of the map’s central loot hubs.

Be warned: you’ll almost definitely find other players here, as well as having a chance of running into Partizan.

Once you’re in the camp, you’re looking for a simple document, located atop some medical storage boxes in one of the corners of the camp, near a large, green container. Here’s a screenshot for ease of access:

Once you’ve got that document, you’ll need to successfully extract it from the map to hand in the item to Jaeger and unlock the next quest, Adaptive Diplomacy.

Here are the rewards for finishing Guardian of Nature:

• 10,000 EXP
• 100,000 Roubles
• 1 x M700 Rifle
• 3 x M700 10-rnd Magazines
• 2 x M80A1 packs
