Ermal Price Changes & New Stock Arrive In ARC Raiders

The first round of balance changes has officially arrived for Ermal, the newest trader in ARC Raiders. After players spent the past week complaining about the steep requirements tied to his shop, Embark Studios has now significantly reduced the cost of Expedition Vault Tiers.

For those unfamiliar, Ermal is a recently added trader who offers a rotating weekly inventory, alongside upgrades that let players expand their stash space and secure items between Expeditions. However, unlike the game’s other traders, Ermal’s stock comes at a hefty price, often requiring valuable High Tier ARC parts and weapons in exchange.

Ermal Receives First Update In ARC Raiders

The biggest change in the update is easily the new pricing structure for Expedition Vault Tiers. Previously, unlocking all five slots would set players back a massive 3,000,000, with each additional slot increasing in price by 200,000.

Embark has now dramatically lowered those costs. Instead of scaling upwards, every Vault Tier now costs a flat 200,000 each. That means unlocking all five slots now totals just 1,000,000 overall, cutting the original price by a huge 2,000,000.

Alongside the pricing changes, Ermal’s store rotation has also refreshed with a brand-new selection of items available for trade. While many players still feel some prices remain on the expensive side, Embark has already stated that Ermal’s economy will continue to evolve as the studio gathers feedback and fine-tunes the balance over the coming weeks.
