EA Sports FC 27 The Grounds Beta Gameplay Leaks Online

A user has uploaded over 10 minutes of EA Sports FC 27 The Grounds beta gameplay, showcasing various aspects of this open-world addition to the upcoming title.

Players were already officially informed about EA Sports FC 27’s latest proposition, The Grounds, a week ago. This is a social area where players will be able to interact with friends, participate in Small-sided football matches and Kickabouts in the park, meet iconic players, and more. Now, some beta gameplay for this feature has leaked online.

Two videos showcasing the beta gameplay of EA Sports FC 27 The Grounds have been spotted on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. The first video is two minutes long and features a player exploring various areas of the open world before interacting with Chloe Kelly in a cutscene. In this cutscene, Kelly introduces “Kickabouts,” a new feature in The Grounds that combines football with other sports such as dodgeball, basketball, and bocce ball.

The video also displays all the objectives available in The Grounds, including Mentors, Live Events, Club Live Events, Club Milestones, and Closed Beta Objectives, along with the corresponding rewards, which consist of The Grounds currency.

The second video is a longer one, showcasing 9 minutes of EA Sports FC 27 The Grounds beta content. In this video, we first see the player explore all the cosmetic options in The Grounds Store at the Clubhouse. The store features different types of Tops, Bottoms, Boots, Outfits, Tattoos, Hair, Facial Hair, Facial Accessories, Arm Sleeves, Archetype Card Backgrounds, and Emotes.

The player then shows another feature: they can summon a ball and hit it at a target floating around in the open world. We also get to see the map, which is similar to what was revealed in the blog post. Finally, we get to see some 1v1, with two players getting into the session together from The Grounds. The area feels very similar to what 2K has.
