EA Sports Announces Return Of College Basketball

EA Sports is bringing back college basketball video games. In a post on social media, EA Sports announced a return to the sport with a simple message.

“Bring the Madness,” the post said. “Let’s run it back.”

There are no other details as to when the first College Basketball game since 2009 will come. That said, it is official confirmation of what Insider Gaming had heard for months.

As late as December 2024, I had been told from multiple sources that there were plenty of discussions within EA Sports—and 2K for that matter—about a college basketball game. At the time, it was unknown how far along talks were but there were groups “heavily pushing” for it.

I’ll have more information as it becomes available.
