Master Chief is rolling it right back to the beginning with Halo: Campaign Evolved, and if you can’t wait to dive into the adventure, early access can provide an earlier opportunity to play.

Halo: Campaign Evolved marks the second time Microsoft have remastered Master Chief’s original adventure, following on from 2011’s Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, but there are some significant changes and new additions this time around.

Does Halo: Campaign Evolved Have Early Access?

Yes, Halo: Campaign Evolved offers early access for players who want to be among the first to jump into the game, but there are specific requirements.

While Halo: Campaign Evolved is set to launch officially on July 28, early access enables players to start playing up to five days earlier, from July 23.

There are no platform limitations either, as early access is available across Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5, and the bonus is not platform-exclusive or tied to Microsoft-specific platforms.

However, there is an extra cost to play for the benefit of early access, which has become the norm in modern gaming, and it may not appeal to everyone.

How to Get Halo: Campaign Evolved Early Access

Early access for Halo: Campaign Evolved is reserved for those who purchase the Premium Edition of the game, coming alongside other incentives and bonuses.

As well as early access, the Premium Edition provides the Founder Armory Pack, Alpha Halo Armory Pack, a Digital Artbook, Digital Game Manual, and the Hungry Buzzards Digital Short Story.

The Halo: Campaign Evolved Premium Edition is priced at $69.99, $20 more than the Standard Edition, so you’ll need to weigh up whether the outlay is worth it.

The Game Pass version of Halo: Campaign Evolved is the Standard Edition, and does not include early access, but you can upgrade to the Premium Edition for $20.
