Diablo 5 Coming In Spring 2029

The next chapter in the Diablo story has been revealed. At BlizzCon 2026, it was announced that Diablo 5 would arrive in spring 2029. Blizzard also shared some plot details.

The hook of this forthcoming game is that Sanctuary has fallen. The heroes are gone, and Diablo has taken Sanctuary. Blizzard executives on stage said the game is anchored by the question, “What must you become when the world has already fallen?”

A panel covering the development of the fifth game of the Diablo franchise will take place later in the day at BlizzCon.
