Three years after it first launched, Diablo 4 is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2. In a new report from billbil-kun, details for the pending release of the latest in the nearly 30-year-old franchise have been revealed.

Before going further, it’s important to note that neither Blizzard nor Nintendo has confirmed the information, meaning that everything is subject to change.

Diablo 4 Launches In September

According to the report, Diablo 4 is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on either September 15 or 18. It’s also expected to get a physical version in the form of a code-in-a-box, and will cost $69.99.

While many fans are hopeful that the Lord of Hatred DLC will be included with the game, billbil-kun says he can’t verify the information.

As far as when an official announcement could come, it’s suggested that it could happen at Gamescom later this month.

“Such a port on such an eagerly awaited platform deserves a proper presentation. Gamescom 2026 will be held from August 26 to 30 in Cologne, and Xbox has already confirmed its presence on site with a dedicated booth to celebrate its 25th anniversary,” he says via translation. “The context is ideal for an official announcement of this Switch 2 version, although nothing is guaranteed yet.”
