Deltarune Chapter 5 Announced During June Nintendo Direct

Deltarune Chapter 5 was officially unveiled during Nintendo Direct, continuing the acclaimed Undertale successor.

Stop what you’re doing; Deltarune Chapter 5 has been announced. The latest piece of the Deltarune puzzle is on the horizon. During the June 2026 Nintendo Direct, Chapter 5 was officially announced for later this month. June 24 to be exact. For those unfamiliar, Deltarune is the successor to the smash hit Undertale from 2015. Toby Fox has said he made Undertale to show that such a game was possible.

All previous chapters of the game are currently available to play on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. The first couple of chapters were released all the way back in 2018 for free. Then fans had to wait until 2025 for the release of chapters 3 and 4. Luckily, the wait won’t be that long for the next chapter of the game.

Deltarune on Nintendo Switch 2

Deltarune Chapters 3 & 4 were a launch title for the Nintendo Switch successor. There was even a special room in the game design specifically to utilize the mouse controls available on Switch 2.

Now, the fan base can look forward to the next chapter of the game, knowing they won’t have to wait 7 years for it to finally release.
