Rugrats: Retro Rewind Collection features six original titles based on the Nicktoon, released on the original Sony PlayStation, Nintendo Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. The game is now available on Switch, PlayStation, and PC via Steam.
Perhaps the top game in the collection, Rugrats: Search For Reptar, was an original PlayStation game released in 1998. This collection also features the PlayStation releases of Rugrats: Studio Tour and Rugrats in Paris: The Movie. The handheld games released as part of this collection include Rugrats: Time Travelers, The Rugrats Movie, and Rugrats: Castle Capers.
Limited Run Games Launches Rugrats Retro Rewind Collection

As is customary with Limited Run’s vintage collections, there are several bonus features. There is a digital museum where players can check out high-resolution scans of the original manuals and box art. There’s also a music player for the soundtrack, a retro screen filter option, and the ability to rewind and save at any time.
“Whether you’re exploring the Pickles’ backyard or trekking through EuroReptarland, this is the definitive way to experience the games that defined a generation of Nicktoons fans,” the game’s synopsis reads.
This is far from the first Nintendo collection released by Limited Run Games. The company recently released a Ren and Stimpy collection, and a Nickelodeon Splat collection featuring games based on Rocko’s Modern Life, GUTS, and more.
A dip into fun nostalgia for Labor Day weekend in America. So grab your screwdriver, or your stewdriver if you’re Tommy Pickles, and re-experience the world of Rugrats.
