Black Ops Ports on PlayStation

As of the time of writing, there’s been no official confirmation on whether the Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 ports will be making their way to Xbox or PC.

The news was first reported by CharlieINTEL, who tweeted on X, “BREAKING: Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 ports are coming to PlayStation in July”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was first released in November 2010, with the sub-series’ second installment releasing in 2012. Both games, which are regarded as some of the best in the franchise, had only been available on their original platform releases until now, of course, in July.

It’s worth noting that these are just ports of the original games, and won’t be remasters or remakes, and it’s currently unknown how Activision plans to handle the multiple servers and capabilities (which are quite outdated).

But as always, we’ll be sure to keep our readers updated as we start to learn more on the Black Ops ports.
