Black Myth: Zhong Kui Devs to Rely on Traditional Techniques Over AI
The latest statement from the developers of Black Myth: Zhong Kui regarding AI is likely to resonate with many players. According to Gamersky (via Pop Culture News), Yang Qi, the art director for Black Myth: Zhong Kui, was asked how much faster the team could develop the upcoming title with the help of AI. He responded that the team is in no rush to utilize AI for speeding up development; rather, they prefer to rely on traditional techniques.
The title “Black Myth: Zhong Kui” is a single-player action RPG inspired by the Chinese folklore character Zhong Kui. The developers plan to use the same business model as before, but they have announced that players “won’t be playing a monkey role this time.” They are currently exploring the specific differences between Wukong and Zhong Kui and will clarify those details before making any further announcements. The game is set to be released on PC and all major console platforms.
