Battlefield 6 is right in the midst of Season 2, but the second update, Nightfall, is fast approaching. From a brand new map to an exciting limited-time event, it’s looking like an update you won’t want to miss.

DICE originally delayed the second Season of Battlefield 6 by a few weeks to improve upon the content calendar. It’s been questionable whether the improvements were worth the wait, but you’ll know for sure by the time Nightfall rolls around.

What Is Battlefield 6 Season 2 Nightfall’s Release Date?

You won’t have to wait much longer, as Nightfall is set to release in Battlefield 6 Season 2 on March 17, 2026.

Aside from the new maps, you’ll be able to get your hands on another new vehicle, as well as a handful of new weapons. Excitingly, the new vehicle is a Dirt Bike, which is set to be the fastest land vehicle in the game. Partner that with the VZ.61 Sidearm and you’ll be cruising through the maps with ease.

Don’t forget Redsec, though, as Battlefield 6’s battle royale is getting some updates, too. Fort-Lyndon will be expanded underground with a brand new POI—the Defence Testing Complex 3.

Battlefield 6 Season 2 Nightfall Release Times

No release dates have been officially confirmed, but assuming that Nightfall will follow the same timings as prior updates, it will arrive in Battlefield 6 Season 2 at 4 AM PT on March 17, 2026.
