ARC Raiders Flashpoint update: ARC Operation Close Scrutiny, new threats, and patch 1.22.0 notes

After January’s Headwinds update and the later Shrouded Sky patch, ARC Raiders has now rolled out another major content patch from the game’s roadmap – Flashpoint. It went live on March 31 and added a new high-risk map event, a new ARC enemy, new weapons and gear, a new player Project, changed enemy distribution across the Rust Belt, as well as a spread of progression, loot, and quality-of-life changes.

The main point of the update is Close Scrutiny, a new ARC Operation. It’s a new type of major map condition that changes the usual structure of a run by reducing the amount of loot available across the map while concentrating the big rewards around a heavily guarded ARC target called the Assessor.
