Two heavyweights have come together in Respawn Entertainment and Capcom. Between them, they’ve put their heads together to create a juicy Apex Legends vs. Street Fighter 6 Event in the first-person shooter.

Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 is a big-time matchup you wouldn’t have had money on, but in this day and age, any collaboration is possible. The world of Apex welcomes Street Fighter, and we’ve got all the details on the collaboration, from its start date to the content and updates you can look forward to.

When Does Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 Event Begin?

The Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 Event gets underway on Tuesday, September 22.

Once it’s live, it will be incorporated into every console and platform for Apex Legends. Be warned, this is a limited-time event, meaning the content won’t be available forever. If you’re not playing Apex Legends currently and you’re interested, I’d suggest you get the game installed sooner rather than later.

When Does Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 Event End?

The Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 Event runs from September 22 and will wrap up on October 13.

This gives you three weeks to play the event. After this, the Street Fighter content will be removed from Apex Legends, and who knows, this might be the one and only SF crossover we ever get!

All Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 Event Content

The crossover sees many Street Fighter 6-themed gameplay features make their way into Apex, from destroying vehicles to playing arcade games to actual beat ’em up gameplay.

Here’s a rundown of what to expect, thanks to a press release we received:

• Wildcard Takeover:
  • ‘Drop into Wildcard and fight through a Street Fighter 6 remix of Olympus. Smash up Punch Trucks for Fight Gauge tokens, step into the ring in Luke’s Gym, and check out the arcade cabinets, Blanka-chan balloons, and other decorations throughout the map. Grab Fighter Gear to channel the power of a Street Fighter 6 character: choose from 4 kits, each with their own Passive abilities, Tacticals, and signature Ultimate.’
• Fighter Form & Showdown:
  • Once players collect tokens to fill their Fight Gauge, they will be able to unleash the power of Fighter Form. Fighter Form switches to third-person combat with players’ new Tactical and Ultimate, plus enhanced melee, block, damage reduction, and extra speed. 
  • Survive until the last round to enter Showdown: the final all-out brawl for victory where every player enters their Fighter Form and any downed or respawning players rejoin the fight.
• New Hadoken Universal Melee:
  • Channel the spirit of Street Fighter 6 and claim the new Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee cosmetic, which includes a matching Deathbox.
• Street Fighter 6 Cosmetics
• Twitch Drops: ‘From September 22-29, we’re enabling Twitch Drops for all Apex streams. All you have to do is watch an Apex Legends stream on Twitch for 60 minutes to earn the Insert Coin Here Weapon Charm.’
• Discord Quest: From September 22 to October 12, you can also complete the Apex Legends Discord Quest. Play for just 15 minutes to earn the Kung Fu Coach Tracker Set.
