A release date for free-to-play creature-capture Aniimo has officially been revealed, alongside several pre-order bonuses for those looking for extra from their game.
Aniimo was initially revealed at the 2025 XBOX Games Showcase, and following several beta sessions for players to get involved in, an official release date has now been confirmed.
Aniimo Releases September 16
A tweet showcasing the array of PlayStation pre-order bundles available to purchase leads to a store page that confirms the Aniimo release date as September 16, 2026.
Aniimo launches across multiple platforms, with a simultaneous launch happening on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android.
The release date reveal comes alongside a slew of details on pre-order packs, now available on the PlayStation Store, including the Fluffy Friend accessory, a platform exclusive, and an Advanced Companion Handbook, which comes in the $9.99 Advanced Edition.
In the $19.99 Collector’s Edition, players receive the aforementioned Fluffy Friend accessory, the Collector’s Companion Handbook, an exclusive Prismana Aniimo Egg, Evolution Material, and Exclusive Doll, and an Exclusive Avatar Frame, alongside other in-game items.
However, none of that is required to play the game when it drops, and there doesn’t appear to be an early access window either, so the doors will open for all players simultaneously.
Additionally, the game was also previously confirmed to be available day one on XBOX Game Pass, but given the title is free-to-play, it’s unclear exactly what that means, and whether extra bonuses will be provided to subscribers.
