Roadcraft is taking the sandbox adventures of Snowrunner and Mudrunner to an entirely new level, which, as you’d expect, may put your PC to the test.

Playing Roadcraft on PC requires meeting the specs provided by the developer, and while you can choose to ignore them, do so at your own peril, as it will be you who faces the struggles.

In the ever-changing world of PC gaming, keeping on top of the latest specs and what’s required is no easy task, so we’re here to make it simpler if Roadcraft is on your wishlist.

The Minimum Requirements for Roadcraft on PC are needed to run the game at a basic level, though you may still encounter issues in-game.

Without meeting the Minimum Requirements, you are unlikely to be able to launch Roadcraft at all and, if you do get into the game, can expect regular loading issues, freezes, and crashes. If your PC can’t meet the Minimum Requirements, it’s time to look at other platforms or upgrade your specs.

The specs were shared in the official Discord for Snowrunner, Expeditions, and Roadcraft, and while they were first shared for the Steam demo, we don’t expect any major changes for the full launch.

PC Spec Minimum Requirement
Operating System Windows 10
CPU Intel Core i3-12100 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
GPU AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
Memory 6 GB RAM
Storage TBC

If your PC isn’t up to the specs above and you have access to a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, consider picking up the title there, as you won’t need to worry about the technical side of things. Plus, Roadcraft is fully crossplay compatible, so you can still play with your PC friends.

No, the Recommended Requirements for Roadcraft have not been shared by Saber Interactive, but they should be made available as the May 20 launch date gets closer.

If you want to get an estimate of the Recommended Requirements, look at Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game. This spin-off was the last entry in the series to be released and, while now outdated, can provide a rough guide of what to expect at a bare minimum.

Roadcraft’s specs are likely to be higher than the last release, however, particularly due to the enhanced game engine for Roadcraft, which enables you to build roads and infrastructure in any location reachable by your vehicles.

Again, if you don’t think your PC will be able to meet the Recommended Requirements for Roadcraft, consider playing on other platforms or look into upgrading.
