All Modifiers For Escape from Tarkov Season One Confirmed—Kord Breach Update

Battlestate Games has unveiled the full list of modifiers for Kord Breach, the upcoming first ‘season’ of Escape from Tarkov, but context is missing. The full list includes the positive, negative, and hardcore modifiers that players will be able to select from when the first season drops this month.

Below, I’ve outlined the full list of modifiers coming with Kord Breach and offered what I think they might mean, based on best guesses and the title. Fans are excited as this represents an all-new way to experience Escape from Tarkov, the most iconic extraction shooter ever made.

All Kord Breach Modifiers, Explained

Here’s the full list of modifiers confirmed for Kord Breach, Escape from Tarkov’s first season, and what they most likely mean:

Hardcore Modifiers

• No Insurance – Very self-explanatory; players will not be able to insure any items for the entire season
• Black Division – This could see Black Division present more in raids, but it’s hard to say how that would work for people who don’t pick them
• Seasoned PMCs – I honestly can’t settle on this one, take your shot in the comments
• Armor Shortage – This could potentially see armor items removed from traders or the Flea Market, or from dynamic loot drops
• No FiR for Hideout – Your in-game Hideout will be upgradeable using any items, not just FiR items
• Handyman – Repairs might be more effective, bestowing effects on your items

Positive Modifiers

• Marathon Runner – Boosted stamina or stamina that runs down more slowly when sprinting
• Juice Time – Drinking juice has boosted healing effects
• Diet – Eating healthy food has a boosting effect on the player
• Thrombophilia – Resistant to bleeding
• Safecracker – You don’t need keys to open safes
• Street Tax – Car extract doesn’t cost anything
• Hercules – Strength skill starts at a high level
• Hypodipsia – Hydration meter doesn’t decrease as quickly
• Bushborne – Silent movement through foliage
• The Tarkov Shooter – Less sway or longer hold breath abilities when using scoped weapons
• Sprinter – Faster base sprint speeds
• Polyphagia – No upper limit for restoring energy when eating
• Sturdy Bones – Less likely to break bones
• Average – Immediately boosts skills when the season starts, but stops you from levelling them further
• Kappa Protocol – Start the season with the Kappa container
• Sailor’s Nostalgia – Start the season with Lightkeeper unlocked
• Youth – I can’t figure out this one, let me know in the comments if you have some idea

Negative Modifiers

• Hemophilia – Bleeding effects are much worse
• Well That Hurt! – Painkillers have no effect
• Chronic Fatigue Syndrome – Your energy levels diminish much faster
• Allergic – You are allergic to random foods and medical items
• Osteoporosis – Your bones are weaker, making you more susceptible to breaks
• Incompetent – You can’t level up skills as fast
• Personality Vacuum – It’s harder to level up Trader reputation levels
• Broken Secure Container – You can’t keep certain items (even more than usual) in your secure container
• Exhaustion – You start every raid with reduced energy
• Polydipsia – Your thirst meter falls faster than usual
• Dr. Jekyll – I cannot work out what this could be, take a go in the comments
• No Flea Market – You cannot use the in-game Flea Market for the season
• Third Leg – I have no idea, but perhaps it’s something to do with weight
