Here’s the best D.Va build for your Overwatch 2 Stadium games.

If you’ve been struggling to win with D.Va in Overwatch 2 Stadium, don’t beat yourself up. Compared to other tanks in this mode, her kit lacks survivability and damage. A carefully crafted build, however, can help her stand strong—and we’re here to help you put it together.

Here’s how to get the best D.Va build for Overwatch 2 Stadium, including the best powers and items.

The main problem with D.Va in Overwatch 2 Stadium is her vulnerability against beam—heavy team compositions (say, a Zarya-Moira-Mei combo). She’s the weakest tank in this mode, especially after Blizzard nerfed her strongest items. That said, she can be a formidable hero once you reach end game and can afford the best items.

To tackle enemies in early game and beyond, you need to focus more on buffing D.Va’s survivability and existing firepower while utilizing her excellent mobility.

Powers

While other heroes can have “best” builds, for D.Va, you need to choose powers according to the situation—or you may find it hard to win.

Our Powers build for D.Va focuses on buffing both her Defense Matrix and damage potential.

Power Description

Ultrawide Matrix
Increase the size of Defense Matrix by 50% and its duration by 20%.

Legendary Loadout
Micro Missiles are replaced with 6 Heavy Rockets, which deal 350% more explosive damage and have 100% increased radius.

Focused Fusion
Fusion Cannon’s spread is reduced by 66% and damage falloff range is 20m farther.

Facetanking
Defense Matrix heals you for 30% of the damage it blocks.

If you’re tackling a beam-heavy enemy team, however, we recommend trying the following build instead: Legendary Loadout, Countermeasures, Facetanking, and Express Detonation—in that order.

This set of powers gives you a major buff on your missiles, which, coupled with your mobility and team support, are your only means against beam heroes. You can also pick powers that buff her damage in close range—like Meka Punch and Ignition Blast—and go heavy on the enemy backline.

Also, try to have your supports play for the team instead of going for damage-heavy builds, or you’ll struggle to survive in the battlefield.

Items

While having the best set of powers for your hero is crucial, items give you a chance to adapt between rounds, letting you expand into your strengths or directly counter your enemies.

Make sure you purchase items based on what you’re lacking. For example, if you go for a damage-heavy Power build, you can compensate for your reduced survivability with items—and vice versa.

Here’s what we think are the best D.Va items in Overwatch 2 Stadium.

You’d likely have to deal with a tight economy for most of a Stadium game, so you may not be able to afford all of the best items. In early game, I recommend focusing on common items only as it’ll let you build the economy to get epic items later on.
