Team Vitality defeated Global Esports 2-1 in the opening match of Group B at VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai.

Vitality took Abyss 13-10 before GE answered with a 13-9 win on Ascent. The European team then closed out the series with a 13-11 victory on Summit. Global Esports has moved into the lower bracket, with only one loss away from an early exit in the season’s final tournament for the Pacific Stage 2 winners.
