G2 Esports opened Group C at VALORANT Champions 2026 with a clinical 2-0 sweep of Chinese org TYLOO on Thursday in Shanghai, silencing the home crowd who expected to see their boys clinch victory over a team they’re ahead of in the power rankings.
The match was the second of the day at Champions Shanghai, following Paper Rex’s opening win over a floundering Team Liquid. G2’s lineup of jawgemo, BABYBAY, trent, valyn, leaf, and splash, needed just two maps to reach the winners’ side of Group C.
