There are some heavy hitters releasing in September this year, but don’t let the likes of Control Resonant and Marvel’s Wolverine distract you from Minecraft Dungeons 2.
The original was a great little diversion from the usual open-world survival that you associate with Minecraft, and the sequel seems set to improve in a ton of new ways, including a brand-new dimension that even the base game doesn’t offer.
If you’re a fan of Minecraft or ARPGs, you need to have Minecraft Dungeons 2 on your radar. With that in mind, here’s when the game releases, as well as its exact start times.
When Is Minecraft Dungeons 2 Coming Out?
Minecraft Dungeons 2 is fast approaching, with the sequel set to release on September 29, 2026.
After a month featuring the likes of a deep and rich vampire RPG, a Marvel superhero adventure and a reality-bending action game, it might be nice to end September by cutting down hundreds of zombies and skeletons in Minecraft Dungeons 2.
Not to say that it’s a simple affair, though, as it’s far from it. With each mission, you’ll unlock new gear, battle fiercer foes, and travel to all-new locations that fans of Minecraft will both recognise and be shocked by. Add to that the game’s replayability and multiplayer features, and it could be one you play for many more months to come.
What Time Does Minecraft Dungeons 2 Release?
Official launch times for Minecraft Dungeons 2 are yet to be revealed, but according to the PlayStation Store listing, the game is set to go live at 1 AM PT on September 29.
That makes it an incredibly early start for those on the West Coast, giving you all day to sink your teeth into the title, but for everyone elsewhere, the release date begins to shift further and further into the day.
