Marvel’s Spider-Man Actor Would Prefer Deadpool Over Wolverine in the Next Game

Marvel’s Spider-Man actor Yuri Lowenthal has revealed that Deadpool is his preference.

There are a t of expectations for the next Marvel’s Spider-Man title, as they now have a brand-new branching universe with Marvel’s Wolverine arriving later this month. There has been a bunch of speculation about the mutant appearing in the next game; however, it seems the Spider-Man actor would rather see the ‘Merc with a Mouth’ appear instead.

Marvel’s Spider-Man’s Yuri Lowenthal Wants Deadpool in the Next Game

During a new interview with TheMovieDB (via GameReactorUK), Marvel’s Spider-Man’s Peter Parker, Yuri Lowenthal, was asked whether there was any chance players would get to see a Spider-Man and Wolverine crossover in an upcoming game, and Lowenthal had an interesting reply. Lowenthal said that while the Spider-Man x Wolverine crossover would be terribly exciting, “there’s one character I would opt for even more strongly than Wolverine, and it would be Deadpool.”

Lowenthal added that whenever he has met Insomniac’s creative director, Brian Horton, he has pushed him to do Deadpool every time. He added that, in case he might have spoiled the character’s appearance in the upcoming title, he would like to believe that the idea originated with him anyway. Deadpool would certainly be a great addition to the Insomniac games, considering the chemistry between the two in the comics. It would be interesting to see how Insomniac deals with it as well.
