Long before Souls games, certain franchises were known for their difficulty. I’m talking about Ninja Gaiden, and of course, Onimusha. The series was popular, but Capcom decided to shelve mainline games for 20 years, that was until Onimusha: Way of the Sword.

This is a big list, and judging by the trophies and achievements, you will do well to earn the Onimusha: Way of the Sword Platinum Trophy and earn all the Gamerscore.

| Winning Is What Matters | Carry out 50 attacks with environmental objects. |
| Untouchable | Perform 50 Grab Reversals. |
| Coming Through! | Break an enemy’s guard 50 times. |
| Helm Splitter | Break 100 shields or pieces of enemy armor. |
| Get This Thing Off Me | Absorb 30 or more souls at once. |
| Berserker | Defeat 3 enemies with continuous Break Issen attacks. |
| Genma Griller | Set three enemies ablaze at once. |
How Many Achievements & Trophies In Onimusha: Way of the Sword?
There are 52 PlayStation Trophies to earn to complete the full achievements and trophies list in Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
If you’ve already browsed the list, then one of them should stick out like a sore thumb: ‘Glutton for Punishment.’
This is going to be rock solid. Based on my experience with previous action games, this will be bosses hitting as hard as possible, tanking all the damage, and they might even have new attacks and phases for you to contend with.
Expect this to be the hardest trophy and achievement that might stop you from claiming all 52 accomplishments.
