Avalanche’s Canceled Iron Man Game Footage Surfaces Online

More than an hour’s worth of footage from Avalanche’s canceled Iron Man game has surfaced online, showing a bunch of gameplay.

Players should note that this is not the EA Motive Iron Man game, as that is still in development. This Iron Man game in question is from Avalanche, the developers of the Just Cause series. The game was never officially announced, but players were informed a few years ago that it was canceled mid-development.

Spotted on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours (via IGN), someone has posted a bunch of clips from Avalanche’s canceled Iron Man game, and they show a lot. There are a total of 9 clips, amounting to almost an hour and a half of proper gameplay footage, where we see Iron Man just flying around massive environments, taking on some fights, where we get to see all the Iron Man aspects in action, such as the gadgets, his repulsor cannons, and more.

It’s not the best-quality footage, but we do get to see a lot, and it does seem to have promise. There’s also a video titled E3 Demo that features a full-fledged opening sequence, the startup screen, a fight with a giant mech, and Iron Man taking on some foot soldiers. Some footage shows the billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist engaging in combat with fighter jets and helicopters. The footage is very reminiscent of the Iron Man game that was released on the PSP/PS3.
