A new video confirms that there is no 60FPS performance for Blood of Dawnwalker on the PS5, PS5 Pro, and XBOX Series X/S consoles.

Rebel Wolves’ upcoming game, Blood of Dawnwalker, is set to release in less than two weeks on September 3, 2026. As the launch date approaches, the developers have begun sharing more details about the game. However, one recent announcement has disappointed players: the game will not include a performance mode on consoles, even for the PS5 Pro.

Blood of Dawnwalker Skips 60 FPS Performance Mode on Consoles

A brand-new video has been posted on the Dawnwalker YouTube account, confirming that Blood of Dawnwalker doesn’t feature a 60 FPS performance mode on console. The new YouTube video titled ‘Console Footage’ states that both the PS5 and the XBOX Series X have two modes, Quality and Balanced. Quality provides Dynamic 4K at 30 FPS, and Balanced provides Dynamic 4K at 60 FPS. Series S details were not revealed.

Interestingly, the graphics modes for the PS5 Pro remain unchanged. They offer a Quality mode with Dynamic 4K at 30 FPS and a Balanced mode with Dynamic 4K at 40 FPS. The only new feature is “enhanced visual quality” for both modes. If you check the comments section of the recent YouTube video, you’ll find numerous complaints from players regarding this issue. Many have expressed a preference for a lower resolution in exchange for better frame rates.
