Halloween: The Game is stalking ever closer to release, raising the standard modern questions in gaming, including whether early access is available.

Developer IllFonic is bringing the iconic Mike Myers to life with a standalone single-player adventure, alongside multiplayer offerings that put a group of survivors up against another player controlling the iconic slasher.

If you’re wondering if there are ways to jump the queue and play Halloween: The Game early, Insider Gaming has all the details you need.

Yes, like many other major titles, Halloween: The Game offers an early access window, giving select players an opportunity to jump in ahead of the full launch.

For Halloween: The Game, the early access release entitles players to four extra days of playtime, beginning on Friday, September 4, compared to the full release on Tuesday, September 8.

The extra weekend could be significant, giving players an early chance to blitz through the single-player campaign, or to get extra reps done in multiplayer to find an advantage over new players.

As usual, however, early access doesn’t open the floodgates, and access is locked behind specific methods that require additional purchase.

How to Get Halloween: The Game Early Access

Early access in Halloween: The Game is reserved for those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of the title, which offers the four-day window as one of the main perks.

The Digital Deluxe edition of Halloween: The Game is priced at $59.99, $20 more than the $39.99 Standard Edition, and offers some additional exclusive extras.

Alongside early access, purchasing the Digital Deluxe edition grants an exclusive Inmate Skin for Mike Myers, two exclusive Civilians, Alexis and Richard, and “more surprises” that are currently not detailed.

As the extras are listed as exclusives, you won’t be able to purchase them separately, and they will be reserved solely for those with the Digital Deluxe edition. It’s up to you to decide if the extra incentives are worth it.
