FaZe Clan Announce Permanent Signing of Neityu

Neityu awarded for contribution to FaZe’s recovery

The signing was confirmed after a three-month loan period that saw Neityu contribute positively to FaZe over the closing months of last season and the start of this season.

Neityu joined FaZe following the sudden departure of long-term IGL and spiritual FaZe Clan leader, Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen, from the roster.

The move saw Neityu fill a gap in the rifling core as Russel ‘Twistzz’ VanDulken took up IGL duties in place of his former mentor.

The Frenchman has largely been a sacrificial and selfless piece thus far in the FaZe roster, requiring few resources and throwing himself in when necessary to allow FaZe’s star pieces to function.

Individually unspectacular, Neityu’s contribution to the team’s overall structure and performance seems to be highly valued internally, as the Frenchman is awarded a permanent move to the storied organization.

Evaluating Neityu’s individual skills was at times difficult last season, with Helvijs ‘broky’ Saukants’s struggles on AWP damaging FaZe’s overall shape and form.

Now, with Jason ‘JBOEN’ Boe Nielsen, Twistzz and the roster have become more solid, finishing 3rd/4th at XSE Pro League, and matching that result at the BLAST Bounty LAN Finals.

Trending in the right direction and back in the VRS top 10 on HLTV’s live VRS model, FaZe are back at the top table of Counter-Strike after missing the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, making the outlook for FaZe much more positive than it looked after they missed out on the Major.
