S-Game has announced the date for the dedicated State of Play presentation for Phantom Blade Zero, scheduled for August 17 at 7:00 pm PT. Although the late time may surprise some fans, it aligns with S-Game’s location in China.

What to Expect from the Gameplay Showcase

On the PlayStation Blog, S-Game CEO Soulframe Liang announced that the presentation will provide an in-depth look at the game’s core combat systems and new story details.

The Phantom Blade Zero gameplay deep dive State of Play will introduce never-before-seen characters central to our story while showing just how expressive players can be with their individual builds. We’re looking forward to finally sharing more of what we’ve been working on.

Donnie Yen’s Role in Development

S-Game also announced the involvement of martial arts legend Donnie Yen. In addition to serving as an action and filmmaking consultant, Yen provides facial and motion capture for Mó Yuan, the father of the game’s protagonist, Soul.
