Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced mods have fulfilled one of the most requested features: unarmed combat.
Ubisoft’s remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag has received widespread acclaim for its faithfulness to the original game while introducing many new features and content for players to explore. However, during the development of this remake, which essentially is a new title, some elements were removed, including the unarmed combat system.
Black Flag Resynced Unarmed Combat Mod Details
For those who may not know, the original Black Flag game featured both unarmed combat and hidden blade combat. However, these elements were removed from Black Flag Resynced. In the remake, unarmed combat is only available during bar fights and cannot be utilized in regular battles. Fortunately, a modder has created a solution for players who miss this feature.
A new Unarmed Combat mod for Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced has been spotted by TheGamer on Nexus Mods, created by ‘kamzik123’. As the title suggests, this mod allows players to engage in combat without using swords. To participate in unarmed battles, players simply need to access their inventory and equip the Officer Small Swords. However, it’s important to note that the mod does not include unarmed finishers; if players attempt a finisher, they will revert to using swords.
The modder has shared images of Edward Kenway assuming an unarmed combat stance during battles in situations beyond bar fights. This demonstrates how the mod functions. However, since it is a mod, players may occasionally need to troubleshoot to ensure everything is working correctly.
