How to Get a Gem Duck Sprite in Fortnite—Mogul Vault Location, Explained

Fortnite may be rapidly approaching the end of the current season, but there’s still plenty of new content dropping, including the introduction of the Gem Duck Sprite.

Gem Sprites are a new variant added to Fortnite on August 6, further expanding the wide array of Sprites that have been introduced by Epic Games to expand your collection and unlock rewards.

How to Get a Gem Duck Sprite in Fortnite

The Gem Duck Sprite in Fortnite can be obtained in a specific location, so be warned, as there may be a lot of competition to get hold of it.

A teaser for the Gem Duck Sprite says it can be “obtained in the vault of a certain business mogul,” which, while it does tell you how it’s obtained, won’t tell you the precise spot where you need to go.

As it stands though, this is the only known way to get your hands on a Gem Duck Sprite, and the benefit to this method is it offers a guaranteed way to get the rare Sprite variant.

Make sure you have a Portable Extractor with you, however, as this is one you don’t want to lose upon elimination, and it’s always best to be prepared.

Where to Find The Mogul Vault in Fortnite

The ‘Mogul Vault’ in Fortnite, where the Gem Duck Sprite is obtained, is located in the Secret Duck Vault at the Cluster Coast POI.

To access this area, you’ll need to locate the ‘Suspicious Duck’, which can spawn in four specific areas in the Cluster Coast POI, which are as follows:

• Outdoor swimming pool on the western side of the POI.
• Indoor swimming pool in the building next to the outpoor pool.
• Aquarium in the same building as the indoor pool.
• Golden duck fountain in the center of Cluster Coast.

Once you have located the Suspicious Duck, interact with it to receive the Rubber Duck Keycard, and find the house with a poster of a duck saying ‘Get Flocked’. Here, place the Rubber Duck keycard in the empty display case to open the entrance to the secret vault.
