The FC Pro World Championship will bring together all the top talent from the EA Sports FC 26 ecosystem, including Anders ‘Vejrgang’ Vejrgang, Matías ‘Bonanno’ Bonanno, and defending champion Manuel ‘ManuBachoore’ Bachoore.
Danish prodigy Vejrgang will be representing Falcons, and to say that EA FC (formerly FIFA) is a priority for Team Falcons would be a massive understatement.
Team Falcons owner, Chairman, and CEO, Mossaad ‘Msdossary’ Al-Dossary, is one of the most accomplished players in FIFA history and is playing at the Esports World Cup 2026 for his own organization.
The Team Falcons founder qualified through the Saudi esports league, eSPL, where he represented Al-Ittihad Club, which currently features noted footballers such as Fabinho, Steven Bergwijn, and Moussa Diaby.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup at the Esports World Cup 2026

It may surprise Western readers to learn that Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was the most-viewed esports of EWC 2024 and EWC 2025.
The mobile MoBA attracted a peak of over 3 million viewers and over 50 million hours watched at EWC 2025, according to data from Esports Charts. For reference, the next-closest tournament in terms of hours watched was League of Legends, with 18 million.
So MLBB is huge, primarily for its Southeast Asian fanbase, which both watches and plays the game religiously, and there’s no reason to suspect that the 2026 edition will be any different.
Following the Play-ins in the lead-in to EWC, the MLBB Mid Season Cup main event starts with double-elimination groups, leading to a single-elimination eight-team playoff bracket.

PUBG: Battlegrounds at the Esports World Cup 2026

The next Battle Royale to take the Qiddiya City Grid will be PUBG: Battlegrounds. PUBG: Battlegrounds at EWC brings together the typically separated regions in a tantalizing contest to see where the regions truly lie in terms of competitiveness.
Twisted Minds return as EWC 2025 champions, but they currently sit at 10th in the PGS circuit standings, behind notable orgs such as Virtus.pro, T1, NAVI, and Anyone’s Legend (playing as AG.AL at this event).
PUBG: Battlegrounds at EWC features three groups, where groups will play six games against each other in a round-robin format. The top 16 teams will advance to the Finals, and the bottom eight are eliminated.
The Grand Finals run for up to 18 matches over three days, featuring the ‘Smash Rule’ where a Match Point Eligible team can win the event by claiming a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
If no Match Point Eligible converts a win by the end of the 18th game, then the team with the most points will win the competition.
Teamfight Tactics at the Esports World Cup 2026

1st place: $150,000
Weibo Gaming come into the EWC TFT tournament as defending champions, but the game has changed a lot since the Esports World Cup 2025 took place.
Gone is the Carousel system in Set 17, replaced by The Realm of the Gods, also seeing huge reworks of how looting and targetting works, with totall distinct mechanics.
Ultimately, that means TFT is a completely different game from last year, and with that comes opportunity for some of esports’ biggest names.
T1, Team Vitality, Fnatic, MOUZ, MKOI, AG.AL, Virtus.pro, Aurora, Nongshim RedForce, and JDG are amongst the orgs to enter TFT in the hope of returning some Club Championship points to increase their winnings over the event.
