When is The Zorua Hide & Seek Event in Pokémon Pokopia? Exact Start Time & End Date

New content is coming to Pokémon Pokopia, with the latest announcement being the introduction of a new Zorua Hide & Seek event available for a limited time early.

Released earlier this year as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, Pokémon Pokopia players have been treated to regular free updates in the form of events, introducing new Pokémon and items to collect, and the latest event has been revealed.

When Does The Zorua Hide & Seek Event Begin?

The Zorua Hide & Seek Event in Pokémon Pokopia begins on Sunday, July 19 at 5 AM local time, but you can’t time-skip ahead to experience the content.

While initial Pokopia events allowed you to adjust your console’s time and date to enjoy the content earlier, a change was made for last month’s Jirachi event, preventing you from doing so, and it remains in place for the latest event.

Unlike previous events, the Zoroua Hide & Seek event is centered around a Pokémon that is already available in Pokopia, and therefore does not signal a new arrival.

It also appears there won’t be any new decorations or items to unlock. Instead, the event is focused on a Hide & Seek format and setting records for how long you can remain hidden while competing with friends on Cloud Islands.

When Does The Zorua Hide & Seek Event End?

The Zorua Hide & Seek event in Pokémon Pokopia will run for eight days, coming to a close on July 27th at 04:59 AM local time.

This gives you more than enough time to enjoy the event, particularly as it appears there isn’t actually anything new to unlock, so you won’t be scrambling to get it all done.

While it’s certainly not the biggest event Pokopia has offered so far, it does make sense to slow things down a bit ahead of the release of the first part of the Expansion Pass next month.

The first wave of the Expansion Pass arrives in August, with the exact date yet to be announced, and introduces underwater exploration, including a new region to rebuild.
