The football legend confirmed the collaboration on Instagram, captioning a teaser clip “Working on my new Fortnite character… Available very soon.” Fortnite’s official X account corroborated the announcement with its own video, showing Beckham walking past a mirror with his in-game skin reflected back at him.
When does the David Beckham Fortnite skin release?
The skins are expected to arrive in the Item Shop next week, but Epic Games has not confirmed an official release date yet. With the FIFA World Cup 2026 finals set to play on July 19, a release for the skin on Saturday, July 18, could be likely. Beckham, who could be seen cheering on the England side in their match against Norway, is expected to also attend the finals, making it a good organic promotion for Fortnite as well.
