It appears that Riot Games and Tencent may be set to announce the highly anticipated global launch of China-exclusive Valorant Mobile at Gamescom.
As part of the major gaming event, Tencent is hosting a “Worlds of Play: The Game Art Exhibition” between August 27 and 29.
The exhibition will feature “gallery-worthy” artwork and immersive installations from over 40 of the publisher’s games, including League of Legends, Honor of Kings, and Assassin’s Creed Resynced.
Amongst the 40 game titles present at the event is a not-before-seen English logo for Valorant Mobile.

And Tencent’s own announcement promises “global debuts,” though this could be about artwork rather than games.
Still, with this coming just over a year after Valorant Mobile’s initial release (August 19, 2025), fans believe that this is signalling the game’s global launch will be revealed at Gamescom.
And considering the game already exists, it likely would mean an immediate release.

Huge First Year of Valorant Mobile
Valorant Mobile has been exclusively available in China for almost a year now and has become increasingly popular over that time period.
Valorant Mobile has attracted more than 10 million daily active players since May of this year, and that’s in China alone.
The mobile game’s launch saw over 170k downloads and around $1 million in revenue from its first day alone.
And PC players have been left jealous by Valorant Mobile’s superior World Cup bundle, which features exclusive gun and knife skins.
