Will Halo: Campaign Evolved Be On XBOX Game Pass?

It’s deja vu for gamers with Halo: Campaign Evolved, which rolls it all back to Master Chief’s debut adventure a quarter of a century ago, and Game Pass subscribers will have their eyes on the release.

A whopping 25 years since the original Halo released, and 15 years on from Combat Evolved’s Anniversary Edition, Halo: Campaign Evolved sees players re-embark on the classic adventure, with a few new surprises along the way.

Is Halo: Campaign Evolved on XBOX Game Pass?

Yes, Halo: Campaign Evolved is available to XBOX Game Pass subscribers at launch, depending on which edition of the service you are subscribed to.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is available day one to subscribers of XBOX Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, as part of Microsoft’s ongoing promise to bring all first-party titles to those services at launch, excluding future Call of Duty titles.

For those who don’t have Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, Halo: Campaign Evolved won’t be available with your subscription at launch, but will come to the service in future.

Game Pass Premium subscribers will get Halo: Campaign Evolved within one year of launch, but there’s no news on whether the title will come to Game Pass Essential in future.

What Edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved is on XBOX Game Pass?

XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will receive access at launch to the Standard Edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved.

This means there won’t be any additional bonuses unless you specifically pre-order, but there are still some options to consider.

For those who will have Halo: Campaign Evolved through Game Pass, you can upgrade to the Premium Edition of the game for $20, which provides a slew of bonuses.

This includes up to five days of early access for Halo: Campaign Evolved, beginning July 23, and customization options in-game.
