The Esports World Cup 2026 is underway with 25 tournaments across 24 different esports titles like Valorant and Counter-Strike 2.
There is a combined $75 million prize pool across all the events with $30m of that set aside for the Club Championship.
Placing in the top eight of any Esports World Cup tournament will award a team with points to help them climb the standings.
The best performing team across multiple tournaments will claim the $7m top prize as long as they won at least one event.

EWC 2026 Club Championship Format
The Club Championship will reward the top 24 performing organisations with at least $100k in prize money.
A team does not have to be part of the EWC Club Partner Program to participate in the Club Championship.
Though to be eligible to place in the standings, an organisation will need to place in the top eight of at least one event.
And to win the Club Championship, they will need to win at least one Esports World Cup trophy. Placing second in every event isn’t enough.
Ties are first broken by the number of tournament wins, then second-place finishes, and finally by head-to-head results if need be.
The majority of events will dish out points to the top eight with the following distributions:
- 1st: 1,000
- 2nd: 750
- 3rd: 500
- 4th: 300
- 5th-8th: 200
Meanwhile, battle royales like Fortnite and Apex Legends will award 150 points for 6th, 100 points for 7th, and 50 points for 8th.
And Trackmania will instead give 100 points to 7th and 8th place.
