Halo Campaign Evolved Devs Say Physical Edition Comes With Disc

In a new Q&A session, Halo Campaign Evolved devs confirmed that a disc will be included in the game’s physical edition.

Recently, players have been observing extensive discussions about discs and physical media, especially following Sony’s recent announcement that it will cease disc production in 2028. Additionally, there is uncertainty regarding whether games will still be released on discs. For instance, the developers of GTA 6 have recently confirmed that their game will only come with a code in the box, rather than a physical disc.

Halo Campaign Evolved Buyers Will Get a Disc With Their Physical Edition Purchase

One of the very first questions in the July Community Q&A session for Halo Campaign Evolved was regarding the game’s discs. The developers confirmed that “Buying the XBOX or PlayStation version of Halo: Campaign Evolved at your local retailer will result in getting the physical game case and disc so that you have tangible items to add to your collection.” Fans can now rest assured knowing that they can add a disc for Halo: Campaign Evolved to their collection.

Regarding physical editions, Halo Campaign Evolved devs also revealed how players will be able to claim pre-order skins for these versions. Players who purchase a physical Collector’s Edition will find a Foundry Armory Pack code included inside the Steelbook, which can be redeemed at XBOX, PlayStation, or Steam digital stores. Participating retailers will have a redemption code printed on the receipt, and digital pre-orders will automatically receive the pack upon installation.
