How to Get a Grim Reaper Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3

Fortnite has a bunch of new Sprites to collect, and one of the most elusive from the most recent batch is the Grim Reaper Sprite.

Five new Sprites were added by Epic Games in the June 25 update, providing Fortnite players with even more to track down and collect in Chapter 7, Season 3, but some are easier to find than others.

If you’re yet to add a Grim Reaper Sprite to your collection and are wondering where you can find it, Insider Gaming has the lowdown.

How to Get a Grim Reaper Sprite in Fortnite

There is no guaranteed way to obtain a Grim Reaper Sprite in Fortnite, nor is there a way to improve your odds. Instead, it all comes down to luck.

While some of the Sprites in Fortnite can be guaranteed through certain means, like the Striker Sprite and the Boss Sprite, the Grim Reaper Sprite doesn’t have that benefit.

Additionally, while the Fishy Sprite, for example, has an increased chance of appearing through fishing, there’s no way to boost your chances of obtaining a Grim Reaper specifically.

Instead, you’re back to the same routine of looting chests, finding Sprite Chests, and exploring the map in the hopes of obtaining one, which may take a while.

Does The Grim Reaper Sprite Have Variants?

Yes, like the majority of the other Sprites in Fortnite, rarer variants of the Grim Reaper Sprite are waiting to be added to your collection.

Currently, there are Gold, Gummy, and Galaxy variants of the Grim Reaper Sprite available, though we know that more variants will be added as the season progresses.

After the Fortnite update on June 25, an error resulted in unreleased Sprite variants becoming available, with lucky players able to extract Gem, Cube, and Holofoil versions of Sprites.

That has since been amended, with the Rift Anomaly that was the culprit being removed, but it’s a clear indication of what players have to look forward to later this season.
