Marvel fans everywhere are chomping at the digital bit amid the latest round of Avengers: Doomsday leaks. This weekend, footage and images surfaced across social media, revealing all-new snippets from the upcoming movie, but not before they were taken down again under copyright claims, which always goes some way to proving their legitimacy.

Now, those same fans are writhing in the agony of deciding whether what has surfaced is a legit round of Avengers: Doomsday leaks or some AI-backed concoction made maliciously to deceive these excited netizens.

Find out what you need to know about the latest Avengers: Doomsday leaks below.

In recent days, several images and clips, some heavily pixelated and almost indiscernable, made their way onto social media platforms worldwide, showcasing the latest Avengers: Doomsday leaks.

Folks took to artificial intelligence-backed solutions to clean up some of these traces, revealing clearer fragments of the upcoming movie, which is slated to be the most ambitious Marvel movie ever made.

For instance, we’ve seen shots of Steve Rogers and Thor front and centre, and the likes of Nightcrawler, Beast, Gambit, and Cyclops from the X-Men also appearing. In one sequence, Shang-Chi fights alongside the new Avengers. We also see the Avengers and X-Men squaring off against Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom and the Sentinels.

Fans have started running their theories, making assumptions based on who is in these leaks and who isn’t. Many have noted that there are a few critical absences from what has leaked so far, including Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Deadpool.

There are wraparound shots showing a full lineup of heroes, and some clips are heavily marred by watermarks, while others are clean as a whistle. It’s super tough to tell what’s a legitimate Doomsday like and what’s fake, but that’s the problem with content like this these days.

It’s the higher definition clips that have been struck down under the terms of copyright claims on social media. In these clips in particular, fans noted elements of unfinished VFX and some rougher cuts, reflecting the in-production nature of what’s being found.
