When is The Wish Upon a Jirachi Event in Pokémon Pokopia? Exact Start Time & End Date

Pokémon Pokopia fans are preparing for an influx of new content following the recently announced Expansion Pass, but before that gets underway, the Wish Upon a Jirachi event this week brings new debuts.

After previous events in Pokopia introduced new Pokémon like Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluff, and Sableye into the fray, Jirachi is now making its own debut in the title, alongside new cosmetics.

When Does The Wish Upon a Jirachi Event Begin?

Jirachi arrives in Pokémon Pokopia in the Wish Upon a Jirachi event on Tuesday, June 23, with its debut beginning at 5 AM local time.

Unlike previous events, you can’t time skip to access the Wish Upon a Jirachi event ahead of time, and you can’t roll back the clocks after the event concludes to experience it again.

Similar to the other events, Jirachi’s arrival comes alongside a new item to collect. Interact with other Pokémon to receive Wish Notes, and complete the requests to transform them into Sparkling Wish Notes, which can then be exchanged with Jirachi inside a reconstructed Pokémon Center for new furniture and decor.

Of course, if you want Jirachi to stick around, you’ll need to build the Pokémon a Habitat, so keep an eye on exactly what the Mythical Pokémon needs.

When Does The Wish Upon a Jirachi Event End?

The Wish Upon a Jirachi event in Pokémon Pokopia will be available until July 8, 2026, at 4:59 AM local time, giving you plenty of time to complete everything there is to offer.

Admittedly, there’s unlikely to be an awful lot to sink your teeth into, if past events are any indication, and once you have a habitat built for Jirachi and unlock all of the available items, there won’t be too much more.

However, the event is merely a drop in the ocean of what is to come in Pokémon Pokopia following the announcement of post-launch content, split into three parts, the first of which lands in August.

Alongside a free update unlocking underwater exploration, the new Expansion Pass adds a new town to explore and rebuild, alongside a slew of new Pokémon to meet.
